AP International Films also known as API, is an Indian film distributor and production company, established on 1958. It’s headquartered at Chennai, Tamil Nadu[1].
AP International Films began as Family business back in 1958 financing Tamil and Malayalam film in 1960s and 70s era. They have distributed over 1000 films.
Satyamev Jayate is the first film to be distributed overseas and Mannan is the first film to run 100 days on theatre in London which was also distributed by them.
In the early 2000s, they began distributing Audio CDs and film DVDs market. In 2003, they begin In-Flight Entertainment on Domestic and International flights for distributing their movies widely.
In 2021, they produced their first film Bhramam
