Check Out the Event (Korean: 이벤트를 확인하세요) is a 2021 four-part South Korean television series written by Kim Tae-joo, directed by Kim Ji-hoon & Lee Han-jun, and starring by Bang Min-ah, Kwon Hwa-woon, Ahn Woo-yeon. The first part aired on MBC TV from August 14, 2021 to September 4, 2021, every Saturday night 21:50 - 23:10.

Ha Song-yi is a friendly and trusting woman who works at a botanical garden. After being emotionally distanced by her boyfriend Park Do-gyum, a vocalist in an indie band for the most part of their relationship, they suddenly break up as Park Do-gyum insists he cannot write music with her in his life. Ha Song-yi is heartbroken, but after the breakup, she learns they won a couple's trip to Jeju Island, something they submitted when still together as a couple. To find closure, Ha Song-yi persuades Park Do-gyum to go on the trip so she can try to get emotional clarity without admitting to Park Do-gyum the change in relationship state.

While in Jeju, they cross paths with Seo Ji-kang, a compassionate and insightful former writer and now a tour guide. Seo Ji-kang begins to be attracted to Song-yi's cheerful persona. During their beautiful tour of Jeju with the company of 2 other couples, tensions rise concerning the hidden emotions and feelings of each couple, but also more noticeably about the three main characters. Together they are part of a love triangle that is complicated by pride, honesty, and emotional baggage as they question if true love means holding onto your loved one at the right time or courage to let them go.

• Bang Min-ah as Ha Song-yi

Ha Song-yi is a 26-year-old female coordinator of a botanical garden. She is cheerful, expressive, and sincere, wearing her heart on her sleeve. Ha Song-yi is the type of person who truly loves, with her responses typically expressed to Park Do-gyum in her long-term relationship with him. Even after their sudden breakup, she continued to have hope and emotion towards him which revealed her loyalty and emotional vulnerability. Although she seems bubbly and strong on the outside, Ha Song-yi struggles internally.

• Kwon Hwa-woon as Park Do-gyum

He is proud and prickly. He knows how sweet, so charming, it is when he bites to pick and plays a riffy guitar solo, and the corners of his mouth turn up. With love, he gets the timing just right, like timing lyrics that fit a beautiful melody. He is a perfectionist with a stubborn personality. He does not let people into his world until given permission. He is consistent with those who have stepped inside. To those who have ventured and stayed in his perimeters, he is marked as mischievous. The frontman and vocalist of an indie band. He was just getting responses, ready to start his broadcasting, when he suddenly announced one day of disbandment. He stayed coy with the members who were like fire mad. He announces a breakup with Song-yi. And makes excuses he can’t even stand, he breaks up and ends up going on a breakup trip he won a couple’s getaway trip to Jeju Island, it was intended for all of it, applied before he broke up. He wanted to be simple and would go on a trip to adopt a lifestyle as if he could be careless or not go on a trip at all. It would probably turn out to be the hardest trip.

A couple travel guide who is playful and fun-loving, He rarely wavers. He is neither hurried nor disorganized. He is the type who sees things in black and white. He is on a plan and carries himself through the plan. But until he meets that woman, Ha Song-yi, just like not all travel plans go as planned, an unexpected woman jumps in.
