HS Technology Group (formerly Homesafe Security Systems Inc.) is an American security and low-voltage systems integration company based in Baltimore, Maryland. Founded in 1993, the company provides residential and commercial services, including video surveillance, access control, audiovisual systems, and home automation.
HS Technology Group originated as Homesafe Security Systems, founded in 1993. In 1996, the company became an authorized ADT dealer, installing more than 3,000 systems in its first year. By 2003, it had served over 30,000 customers before exiting the ADT dealer program following ADT’s acquisition by Tyco.
In 2007, the company relocated from Hunt Valley, Maryland, to a new facility, citing growth in its high-end custom systems business.[1]
In 2012, Homesafe merged with Questron, forming HS Technology Group. The merger expanded the company’s operations into Delaware, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C., and added approximately 6,000 customer accounts.[2]
HS Technology Group provides low-voltage integration services for residential, commercial, and institutional clients. Its offerings include surveillance systems, access control, audiovisual installations, home automation, and structured cabling.
