Overview

Imparta is a sales training company headquartered in London, United Kingdom. Founded in 1997, it operates through more than 100 certified trainers and delivers programs in over 60 countries as of 2025. The company provides training solutions in sales strategy, customer experience, and sales leadership development. Imparta also offers technology-enabled learning platforms, including i-Coach AI, which integrate with CRM and collaboration tools.

History

Imparta was founded in 1997 by Richard Barkey, who had previously worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Barkey had developed early computer-based simulations designed to improve business performance skills, which became the foundation of the company’s technology-enabled approach to training.

In 2010, Imparta acquired Procter Consultancy Ltd.[1], a UK-based firm specialising in service excellence and culture change. This marked the beginning of a strategy to expand its capabilities through acquisition.

In 2022, Imparta acquired the assets of White Springs, a company providing CRM integration tools for sales training, enhancing Imparta's technology stack for training delivery and AI-powered planning.

In 2023, Imparta acquired U.S.-based VantagePoint Performance[2], integrating its research on sales agility into Imparta’s 3D Advantage® methodology.
