We Sell Restaurants
We Sell Restaurants is a privately held business broker franchise specializing in the sale of restaurants and restaurant spaces across the United States.[1]The company operates as a network of "Certified Restaurant Brokers"[2] who assist clients with buying, selling, and leasing restaurant businesses. Founded in 2001, We Sell Restaurants is headquartered in Palm Coast, Florida, and as of 2025, the brand operates across the United States.[3]
We Sell Restaurants was founded in 2021 by Robin and Eric Gagnon. The company started as an independent business brokerage and then switched to a franchise model to keep up with the growing demand in the niche field.[4] In 2012, the company began offering franchise opportunities, allowing local brokers to operate under the We Sell Restaurants brand while gaining access to the company's tools, training, and systems.[5]
Robin Gagnon is the CEO and co-founder of We Sell Restaurants. She serves on the Executive Board of Directors of the International Franchise Association (IFA)[6] and is the current Chair of its Franchisor Forum. She previously chaired the IFA’s Women’s Franchise Committee[7]. In 2025 Gagnon received the IFA's Crystal Compass Award in recognition of her leadership within the franchise industry.[8] She has been recognized in 2022 by Entrepreneur magazine as one of the Most Influential Women in Franchising[9] and named by Nation’s Restaurant News as one of the most influential suppliers and vendors in the country in 2022.[10] She has also appeared on national media, including NBC’s Today Show.[11]
Robin and Eric Gagnon are also co-authors of the book Appetite for Acquisition.[12]
