Company history

Jedox was founded in 2002 by Kristian Raue in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, with the aim of simplifying planning, analysis, and reporting processes for businesses.[1] In 2008, Jedox transitioned into a stock corporation and secured its first funding round, raising approximately $5.44 million in a Series A round led by eCAPITAL.[2]

In 2014, Jedox acquired Reboard, a German software company specializing in mobile analytics and reporting.[3] The following year, in July 2015, Jedox expanded its presence in the Asia-Pacific region by acquiring Naked Data, an Australian software company, leading to new offices in Singapore, Sydney, and Melbourne.[4]

In April 2018, Jedox raised $24.6 million in a Series B funding round with participation from eCAPITAL and IRIS.[5] Subsequently, in January 2021, Jedox secured over $100 million in a Series C round led by Insight Partners, with participation from existing investors IRIS, eCAPITAL, and Wecken & Cie.[6]
