Sir Patrick John Rushton Sergeant (born 17 March 1924) is a British journalist, investor and businessman who was long the City Editor of the Daily Mail and later the founder of Euromoney Institutional Investor.

He was a director of Daily Mail and General Trust Plc from before 1992 to 2004, taking Euromoney directorships in the 1990s. In 2018, he announced his retirement from the board of Euromoney.

He is father of the British artist Emma Sergeant.
