Unicum in a Manhattan

If you are lucky enough to find some of this, try using it for the bitters in a Manhattan (cocktail) -- tasty and spicy! — Eoghanacht talk 15:56, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

Liqueur?

Does it have sugar, and is it a liqueur rather than a liquor? Badagnani 06:22, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

--Techincally, it's a type of bitters. Chevalier3 (talk) 04:03, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Yes. Bitters or not, it has a lot of sugar. In fact, that's the main reason that only moderate servings can be consumed. --SciCorrector (talk) 18:48, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

Disambiguation?

Early camera shutter. Perhaps a bit obscure, but not so obscure that it isn't already here on Wikipedia. --Elijah (talk) 23:04, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Temperature

As far as I know it's to be drunk in room temerature, not chill as depicted.

It can be drunk at any temperature, but it definitely is best enjoyed chilled. (Simplymo (talk) 20:33, 26 February 2010 (UTC))

Communism

According to these wikipedia pages Hungary, People's Republic of Hungary, Hungarian Communist Party there was a form of Communism in Hungary and the Zwack family was in exile during this period. Looks like there is a consensus on this. Until all of those pages are changed to socialism the term communism should remain on this page. MarnetteD | Talk 21:01, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

The link to Goulash Communism that you provide states that this was a hybrid form of communism that did not exist until the 1960's so the country was still communist before that. Further it does not state that Hungary ever became a purely "Socialist" country. Lastly, the name of the article is "Goulash Communism for crying out loud. The term communism should be restored to the article. MarnetteD | Talk 21:32, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

Ok, I see that the original hint I gave about the common confusion of communism and socialism was not enough. I don't have time neither do I want go and change heaps of wikipedia pages therefore all of the above mentioned will stay in their original states. However, if anyone would like to have a look at the page communism it very clearly states that communism is "only possible after a socialist stage develops the productive forces, leading to a superabundance of goods and services." Since this state has never been achieved in Hungary or, in fact, anywhere in the world, communism is a word that has, erroneously, replaced socialism. So that is the end of this debate; although certain pages of wikipedia are incorrect it does not mean that the wiki community needs another page with false info.
