Purpose

When a biographical article about more than one person (multiple subjects) has incoming redirects from the names of its subjects, monitoring those redirects is necessary for compliance with Wikipedia's policy on biographies of living persons. This rcat accomplishes that purpose by sorting all redirected subjects of joint biographies to a maintenance category.

Usage

This redirect category (rcat) template populates Category:Redirects to joint biographies by default. Place this rcat on a redirect page (not a talk-page redirect) in the following manner:
