This navbox is getting quite large. On my browser it doesn't even fit on one page. According to WP:Navbox "should be kept small in size" and "Navigation templates provide navigation between existing articles" (emphasis mine). A "list of ..." article could have the complete list. The references cited on the talk page above could go there too. -- Brianhe (talk) 02:48, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Removed ships and designers with nonexisting articles. Also removed HTML line breaks from column 1 to make it more compact. -- Brianhe (talk) 23:11, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
I removed these from the template due to size and overcrowding issues. I feel these would make a good template on their own. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 17:08, 13 July 2019 (UTC)
Date removal
The dates can be seen as clutter I know, but what should we do about the issue of a ship having the same name in the same column but launched on different dates? i do not want readers to get confused on what they are looking for. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 19:54, 27 April 2020 (UTC)
Oh dear, I just noticed that the ships are not even arranged in alphabetical order, which is presumably why I couldn't find the ships of the same name. That's something else that needs to be fixed IMO. Gatoclass (talk) 21:37, 28 April 2020 (UTC)
