L.S. Ayres needs to be added to Famous-Barr because in 1991 May closed down its flagship store and in 1992 the operations merged with the downtown St. Louis Famous-Barr store, the same thing happened when May acquired The Jones Store in 1998. Matthew Cantrell (talk) 00:54, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
