Early monarchs

Just wanted to note that I have made some rather bold changes to the template, to what I believe better reflect the situation. It includes editing the template so that a separate section for the early Danish monarchs is avoided (it was confusing since they appeared after 1319, even though they ruled around 1000). Nicely done. Harald Bluetooth is finally included.--The Emperor's New Spy (talk) 00:37, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
So I've been thinking a bit more about the template, and have come up with a suggestion that I think is more reflective of Norwegian history. The suggested format divides the post-medieval monarchs into actual state/political situations instead of royal houses, which is more important in Norwegian history. Templates like Template:English, Scottish and British monarchs or Template:English monarchs does something like the same. Thhist (talk) 14:15, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
