I notice Quadratic gravity (QQG) is in the string theory section of this template. But from what I can tell, it's a modification of classical GR that makes a quantized version renormalizeable. That's based on the Quanta Magazine article that I found it through. So I think it might be in the wrong part of the template, or alternatively, that there's a connection between QQG and string theory that should be described in the QQG article.
