Protists

Please don't make this a "protist" template, as there are too many groups which have not been considered protists for at least 60 years, and others in the 20 years range. Also, this template needs references. --Kleopatra (talk) 15:34, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

"Bigyra" is paraphyletic

The template's use of "Bigyra" is obsolete. Instead we should have

Stramenopiles

  Platysulcidae
  Clade
    Sagenista
    Clade
       Bikosea
       Clade
          Placidozoa (with various Opal... groups)
          Gyrista

I'm not sure how that would work in the template or I'd fix it now. Good luck! Chiswick Chap (talk) 12:53, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
