Notes

Would MediaZilla (articlewebsite) go on this template, or is that not an actual "project"? --Gray Porpoise 19:46, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

It's not a project. It's just a bug reporting site. —Daniel (‽) 20:23, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Merge to Template:Wikipedia

I propose merge.--Kozuch (talk) 22:50, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Removed Wikimedia projects from Template:Wikipedia - merge not relevant any more.--Kozuch (talk) 22:11, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

it.wiki

can you add it:Template:Wikimedia please? Thanks--151.59.233.53 (talk) 14:06, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Link to Meta

Should the link to meta be included? It's not an actual article, but I thought it was when I saw it. Richard001 (talk) 02:03, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

{{editsemiprotected}} Agreed. I think this falls under WP:SELF and the link should be removed. Ian (77.253.185.54 (talk) 20:06, 30 July 2010 (UTC))
Not done There would be a COI to create an article for a project such as MetaWiki here in Wikipedia, that's why it links to a project page that explains it all, as far as I see. No need to remove the link. Diego Grez what's up? 02:48, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

Sort order

In this edit, Dominic switched the order from being alphabetical to being by creation date. I approve! --MZMcBride (talk) 01:08, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

Self reference

All the links to userspace should be removed per WP:SELF.  Liam987(talk) 21:27, 12 April 2015 (UTC)

I added this discontinued Wiki of the foundation, don't know if it's relevant here.--Kimdime (talk) 02:04, 11 June 2015 (UTC)

Staff members

Who's in and who's not

The selection of who's mentioned under Wikimedia People seems a bit random. Could we agree on an objective criterium? I imagine for example that we won't link each staff member with an article (we wouldn't do that for other organizations, right?), but rather only people who either have a board position or a C-level position? effeietsanders 17:30, 22 August 2018 (UTC)

Yes, I just had the same thought about the "current" people. I'll try a bit of WP:APPNOTEing. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 08:09, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
Come to think of it, Template:Wikipedia is similar. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 08:15, 20 September 2021 (UTC)

I honestly didn't know this template existed until I saw it in the help desk. May I ask how this template works currently? Afaik the people who are part of the WMF have (WMF) as part of their username. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#0001 13:27, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
Fwiw, we have Category:Wikimedia Foundation people and List of Wikipedia people. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 14:26, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
