Unsigned generator is a user script, which automatically produces wikitext for Template:Unsigned or Template:Unsigned IP on pages of diffs and permalinks. This script is useful for cases when User:Andrybak/Scripts/Unsigned helper doesn't find the correct link.
How to use
- Locate an unsigned comment
- Find the correct diff or permalink for the chosen unsigned comment. Use the following tools to help:
- WikiBlame
- Extension:RevisionSlider aka "Browse history interactively"
- On the diff's/permalink's page, click the link "Unsigned gen" in the sidebar "Tools" (Vector 2022) or menu "More" (Vector 2010)
- Copy the code which appears in a text field just below tabs and "<page title>: Difference between revisions"
