Yumi Sakugawa is a Japanese-American artist best known for her novels "I Think I Am In Friend-Love With You" and "Your Illustrated Guide To Becoming One With The Universe". Sakugawa is an Ignatz Awards nominated comic book artist. Her comics have also appeared in Bitch, the Best American Non­-Required Reading 2014, The Rumpus, Folio, Fjords Review among other publications. Sakugawa graduated from the fine art program at the University of California, Los Angeles.
