About me

My user name comes from a character in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

My interests are Shakespeare's plays, Elizabethan poetry, nineteenth-century poetry, essays, and eighteenth and nineteenth-century novels. I'm also interested in literary criticism, particularly of Shakespeare.

While I'm not particularly interested in actors or actresses per se, I am interested in expanding the biographies of those who were famous for portraying Shakespeare's characters.

I'm also interested in adding public domain images of original illustrations and title pages from nineteenth-century and early twentieth-century novels.

I can normally be found at at Wikisource, where I'm an administrator, but also have an account at Commons, at Meta, and at Wiktionary.
