C-Clip Beatz (real name: Jermaine Smith, born October 22, 1988) is an American multi-platinum record producer, songwriter, and artist from Riviera Beach, Florida. He is best known for his work with Kodak Black, YNW Melly, Kanye West, Lil Baby, and NLE Choppa. He is the founder of Beat Battalion Music and is a certified RIAA multi-platinum producer.[1]

Early Life and Local Career

C-Clip Beatz became a local sensation in Palm Beach County after producing and writing “We Do It,” a regional anthem that featured top local talent. The song won “Best Song” at the 2009 Palm Beach Hip-Hop Awards and helped establish him in Florida’s underground music scene.[2]

In 2017, he signed to Kodak Black’s Sniper Gang label (2017–2021). His breakout came with Kodak Black’s “Transportin'” on Project Baby 2 (2017), which was later certified platinum by the RIAA.[3]
