Work Life
I'm an independent scholar, oral historian, educator, and non-profit consultant who is working with 1000 Women in Religion, was founded by the Parliament of the World's Religions and the Women's Caucus of the American Academy of Religion (AAR) and the Society of Biblical Literature (SBL) to put women activists, leaders and scholars of religion on Wikipedia. One of my favorite projects was documenting the Jewish Community of New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and the Gulf Coast for Katrina’s Jewish Voices for the Jewish Women’s Archive and TheGoldring/Woldenberg Institute of Southern Jewish Life (ISJL). I am a non-profit consultant for Julep Consulting bringing resources to environmental, arts and other social justice non-profit organizations.
