Jean Palmerton article

Hi Asukite,

Thank you for reviewing this new article. Would you please let me know what copyright issue you found? I wrote and published the submission to IMDB, so am the creator of both that article and the one submitted to Wikipedia. Is this a problem? Are there other concerns you had?

Thanks for helping me. Ms. Palmerton died recently-- after an amazing and influential career and life-- and should be recognized as an important contributor to the theatrical arts.

Hi Sethfarbman, I was not aware that you were also the author of the IMDB content. The IMDB page was the violation I was referring to when I tagged it, found via one of our copyvio detection tools. Due to Wikipedia's policy on copyrighted content, we need to have a license to use the content you wrote, otherwise we can get in trouble. You'll find relevant material at WP:DCP, specificially at this section - this page describes how you can go about giving Wikipedia permission to use your copyrighted material. Sorry for the inconvenience, hope this helps! Also, please be aware that by having the content available at IMDB, it is also subject to their policy (viewable here, and there may be other policies) - this might mean that legally speaking, only IMDB owns the right to the content once posted, but I'm not a lawyer so I can't say for certain.
