Brady Haran

Should this title be added to the list of best-selling video games? It's actually Hitman 3, released in 2021 and rebranded as Hitman: World of Assassination in 2023. World of Assassination is also kind of a compilation since it includes content from both Hitman 1 and 2, packaged into a single product, making it a bit complex matter. - Off topic, but do you think games with bundle distinction are appropriately marked? I thought of doing something similar to what you did with Wii Sports. Adding a note to each marked game, but I thought people would already get an idea, and it would be redundant. Some games I'm in doubt about are Mario Kart 8 (GameSpot suggests its sales noticeably rise because of bundles ). I'm also doubting New Super Mario Bros. DS. Can you suggest what we should do? - @Kazama16: I would remove the marker and just use notes instead. While the marker is easier, it is an eye-catching asterisk, which is certain to be contentious, especially when a criteria for the use of that marker has not been established. Specific, individual notes won't come off as dismissive and will actually aid readers in knowing exactly how the bundles were implemented and how they factored into its sales.
- As for Mario Kart 8, I wouldn't include a note for that one, unless there is something more substantial than Black Friday bundles. We should try to restrict this to cases where a game was intrinsically tied to bundling during its lifetime, rather than limited-time offers. Prefall 09:09, 29 October 2025 (UTC)

- @Kazama16: Unfortunately, I think this is a WP:MIRROR of our best-selling games article. The telltale signs to me are that they included The Oregon Trail (which I don't believe is commonly included), and that they disregarded Skyrim's 60 million figure that Todd Howard directly gave them in an interview. So there are a few YouTuber pages I've skipped as I go through converting. Most of them have more than 3 pages and I'm not sure what to do with em. - @Zackmann08: Done. One thing I've noticed is some patrollers accidentally switch {{Infobox youtuber}} back to {{Infobox YouTube personality}} when cleaning up pages.
