You have recently edited a page related to the region of South Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal), broadly construed, including but not limited to history, politics, ethnicity, and social groups, a topic designated as contentious. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war, according to the reverts you've made to First Islamic state. This means that you are repeatedly reverting content back to how you think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree. Please see my previous explanation here. In short: the current title is simply a descriptive title (WP:NDESC) as there is no evidence that there exists any conventionalized title for this topic in reliable sources. There is no evidence that "State of Medina" is a conventional name either, including in the sources you linked; the fact that the words "state of Medina" merely appear somewhere inside a book does not indicate that scholars use this term as a formal name for the state (the fact that "state" is lowercase is another clue). The second link, by the way, does not appear to be a reliable source, and the first book you linked even uses the words "first Islamic state" right after, further exemplifying this point. The lead must therefore remain descriptive and not include bolded titles to suggest specific names. If there is clearer evidence otherwise, please bring it up at Talk:First Islamic state.
