The proposed WikiProject has two main goals:
If you would like to join, please do comment below, and I'll ping you during the proposal to confirm your intent. I will be posting this message on all related WikiProjects. All experience levels appreciated! 22ManzanaBoy (talk) 15:45, 15 July 2025 (UTC)
Hello, |
Hello all, excited to join my first WikiProject! While I do intend on involving myself with the full scope of textile arts articles, I want to propose that Paper and its eponymous category be taken under this project's wing. Paper is a non-woven mesh of natural fibers, so it does fit under the definition of textiles. More importantly to Wikipedia, however, is that paper has no real WikiProject. I believe this WikiProject has the proper scope to focus on paper, versus a generalist WP like Materials.
I am unfamiliar with the process of expanding wikiproject scope, so please let me know! chickenpox4dinner (talk) 17:46, 17 October 2025 (UTC)
For WikiProjects that participate in rating articles, the banners for talk pages usually say something like:
There is a proposal to change the default wording on the banners to say "priority" instead of "importance". This could affect the template for your group. Please join the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Council#Proposal to update wording on WikiProject banners.
