The circled dot was used by the Pythagoreans and later Greeks to represent the first metaphysical being, the Monad or The Absolute.

واحديت يا مونزم (Monism) اهڙو نظريو، جنھن مطابق ڪائنات هڪ جوهر مان وجود ۾ آئي آهي. جديد دور ۾ هن نقطي نظر جا ڪيترائي حامي آهن. ان نظرئي جي مڃيندڙن کي واحديت پسند (Monist) چيو ويندو آهي.
