The 2027 IIHF World Championship will be hosted by Düsseldorf and Mannheim, Germany, from 14 to 30 May 2027.

Host nation bid

The only bidders were Kazakhstan and Germany. Norway withdrew its bid in January, four months and a half before the host selection. Austria had also expressed an interest.
