The article is ok but a bit dry. Why did he create this kind of music; what did he claim to be doing? Are there any decent interviews around to get quotes from. Otherwise its a list of facts...Johncmullen1960 07:18, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
What is the timeline of the Ca Plane Pour Moi song? At some point the article states the song is a "1982" recording. Later it mentions an earlier date. YouTube hosts a video version of Plastic Bertrand "performing" this song live (obviously lip-syncing while jumping on a trampoline without a mic) but the Broadcast date shows 6-5-1978 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahX-E-auLmA Published on Feb 13, 2013 / Artist: Plastic Bertrand / Title: Ca Plane Pour Moi / Broadcast date: 6-5-1978 / TV program: TopPop / Video rights: AVRO
What does the "photo-story" refer to? Fumetti or photo essays? It's slightly trivial either way, but still... 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 00:29, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
I removed the pre-2010 material because it was unintelligible and has become basically irrelevant after the recent developments. If anyone wants to restore it, please take a little trouble to make it clear what the issues were, who was suing whom over what, etc. Languagehat (talk) 12:58, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
It is arguable to suggest the Punk movement began in 1974. I know the Ramones are often considered by some as the first "punk" band but American "punk" and English punk are two seperate entities. The Ramones debute album was not relesed until 1976. English punk is the true punk movement and that is at its heights in the mid to late 1970s. Punk was never globally influential and mainstream until the late 1970s at the earliest. I very much doubt any European artist formed a band under the influence of "punk" as early as 1974. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.26.108.33 (talk) 01:10, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
