Just FYI since I've seen you do it a few times: the deaths pages lists redlinks for 1 month, at which point they are removed. This is so articles can be easily detected while pruning the list (and external sources that rely on the deaths list look for the first link in a listing to determine the person's name). The Flight 389 accident occurred in 1965 which was obviously before 1975. Even the final report and secondary sources say "United Air Lines". I hope you understand. I've reverted your categorization of Douglas MacArthur as anti-fascist as the article doesn't discuss it. I believe categories are for "distinguishing" characteristics that the person is known for. His anti-communism is clear from the article. That he fought for the allies in WWII would indicate his attitude toward fascism, but it isn't a distinguishing characteristic. Hi NesserWiki. I edited some of the nonstandard section headings you added to Zohran Mamdani, and I see that you added some more and were reverted again, and seemed to be wondering why. Wikipedia has various manuals of style to ensure that all of our articles have a uniform look and meet certain standards for accessibility. Deviating from these style guides is more than just a visual choice, it actually breaks things. In particular, section headings are automatically bolded by the software that Wikipedia runs on, so when you add bold to a section heading you're actually making it double bold, which makes other things on the page render differently than expected or sometimes not at all, and can cause problems with section links.

Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Futurama, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. Hi, and thank you for your edits to Wikipedia. I wanted to follow up about an edit where, Ammiel Alcalay was removed from a parent category.

This category is part of a group that falls under WP:EGRS, which covers categories based on ethnicity, gender, religion, sexuality, or disability. These categories are typically set up as non-diffusing. That means when a page is added to a subcategory like this one, it's still meant to be included in the parent category as well.

This is important because removing someone from the parent category can unintentionally change who appears to "belong" there. Over time, that can make the main category look less representative than it actually is, which the EGRS guideline is designed to avoid.

If you're not sure whether a subcategory is non-diffusing, you can often check the category page itself; many include a note or template. You can also read more at WP:EGRS and in the section on the final-rung rule. If you need further help, ask at the Teahouse. please stop removing people from non-diffusing parent categories. In accordance with WP:CWW, you should provide attribution in the edit summary. You can do that by typing Copied content from ]; see source page's history for attribution in the edit summary, substituting ] with the name of the article. Do not use "Page move" to move categories, the appropriate way for categories to be moved is to use WP:CFD to either rename, merge or delete categories. It can be hard to untangle the category moves you have done because all of the contents of categories have to be relocated. Please do not ever move categories in the future, we have CFD bots that are programmed to handle these page moves so that they are done correctly.

I'm coming here because your new category appears to make no distiction between the (very few) incidents in the UK in which there is any tracable link to ISIL/ISIS/IS, the far more substantial number in which some form of 'pledge of allegiance', internet search history or similar is made, indicating someone may be'inspired by', even if they acted alone, and the even larger number in which Amaq news agency posts a standard wording claim that the perpetrator was 'one of their soldiers' (which they usually do for any perpetrator doing anything they approve of). What are the criteria for inclusion? A claim from a (largely discredited and wholly unreliable) source like Amaq doesn't seem like a very sound basis to unequivocally link the event to IS in a category.

I have removed the category from one event (Westminster stabbing) where the police explicitly stated that they "found no link with a terrorist organisation and believe Masood acted alone, but anyway believe the category is very problematic if it doesn't have both a clear name and clear inclusion criteria.
