This is a collection of discussions on the deletion of articles related to Pennsylvania. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.

Adding a new AfD discussion
Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
  1. Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
  2. You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Pennsylvania|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
Removing a closed AfD discussion
Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
Other types of discussions
You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Pennsylvania. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.

The subject lacks independent coverage/in-line citations about all alleged feats. After a WP:BEFORE I just found WP:TRIVIAL mentions about him. Svartner (talk) 05:38, 17 December 2025 (UTC)

Article fails WP:INVALIDBIO and WP:NOTINHERITED. Subject was only known for his marriage to Ingrid Bergman. I admit I created this article. Nevertheless, notability is not inherited. The Film Creator (talk) 13:17, 16 December 2025 (UTC)

"Dr. Petter Lindstrom, a Swedish-born neurosurgeon respected in his field for his pioneering work in so-called bloodless brain surgery, died on May 24 at his home in Sonoma, Calif."
--Jahaza (talk) 22:31, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
I added a medical journal reference about his surgical innovation. Jahaza (talk) 16:10, 17 December 2025 (UTC)

No evidence of notability. Most of the sources in the article don't even mention the subject, and I have been unable to find anything at all through WP:BEFORE. Jay8g 02:55, 15 December 2025 (UTC)

Maria Caruso (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View AfD | edits since nomination)

This subject does not enjoy WP:SIGCOV and fails WP:ANYBIO. At nomination, all refs appear to be AI hallucinations (all 404s without archives). Previous revisions had only apparent WP:PRIMARY and was promotional in nature. JFHJr () 04:30, 11 December 2025 (UTC)

  • Delete lacks WP:SIGCOV in multiple RS necessary to meet WP:GNG. KhantWiki (talk) 17:52, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
  • Delete - two of the references are actually one good source, but that's it. That one source is not enough for a BLP. Bearian (talk) 11:40, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
  • Keep as subject has quite a bit of SIGCOV and multiple WP:RS. There at least a dozen Pittsburgh area publications including , , which are currently in the article. See also , which are not yet in the article and there are others one can find via Google, Proquest, Newspapers.com. I've also found sources not from Pittsburgh-based publications including and . The subject's notability is based on her dance company and articles about her and the company's performances. I'm not sure if meeting WP:ANYBIO is necessary as she appears to meet WP:GNG. Can folks who !voted previously take a look at the sources? cc: JFHJr, Deb, Walter, Beach drifter, KhantWiki, Svartner, Bearian. I'm not sure I want to do any further work on the article without getting some consensus here that the sources meet GNG. I acknowledge the version of this article before four days ago had plenty of issues including poor sourcing. Nnev66 (talk) 21:36, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
  • Keep based on the sources found by Nnev66. I have also found reviews in The Psychologist and in BroadwayWorld UK (which may be considered an unreliable source, but the review is by a professional dance reviewer and is not positive). RebeccaGreen (talk) 09:04, 17 December 2025 (UTC)
